- TINDER FIREWICK - Acts as an easy to light rope tinder to catch sparks from the ferro rod. The wax infused jute rope is encased in an aluminum tube that allows the flame to be easily controlled, as well as a bellows to gently blow on your tinder bundle for improved combustion.
- FIREROPE TINDER - We've included 3 sections our our easy to light, FireRope Tinder. Each Section is 6" long and are comprised of large diameter braided Jute Rope that has been infused with a hot burning paraffin wax blend that will provide up to 45 minutes of burn time. It starts out with our FireStorm-Plus Large 1/2" Ferro Rod.
It uses a special ferrocerium blend that when struck with the enhanced steel striker, throws a shower of molten hot shards on your tinder to ensure you'll get a fire started super fast, even in the worst weather conditions. To keep things together, we've connected the rod and striker with a handy braided paracord lanyard.
Next up is the FireRope Tinder and FireWick Tinder-Torch
The FireWick and FireRope both use a special paraffin-infused blend that quickly and easily lights to start a fire. The FireWick features an aluminum Hex tube that doubles as a bellows to help accelerate the flame when starting a fire and to extinguish the flame on the FireWick once you lite your fire...simply push the Hex tube down the rope over the fire suffocating the flame, saving the wick for hundreds of more uses.
To finish it all up, the tools all tuck neatly into a high-quality weather-resistant carrying case. Made from heavy-duty 600D nylon, its zippered main compartment and outer Velcro flap sleeve pack all your fire tools into one convenient package. The back of the pouch has two heavy-duty nylon straps with snap fasteners that can be easily attached you a belt without having to take it off. The straps are MOLLE compatible so it can easily be attached to any other location or gear utilizing the PALS system.
